Tormala Times: Merry Christmas/3 months/Bye Daddy/Happy New Year!

Hi everyone, yes it has been a while since Mommy posted anything. She has been busy with work and taking care of me when she gets home. Daddy was taking care of me during the day, but he just left to go back to work.

Christmas was fun, although I am not sure about the whole present thing yet. Mommy and Daddy videotaped me and Mommy opening presents, but didn't take any pictures on the regular camera. I guess they were just too caught up in how cute I was. However, Mommy did take several pictures of me in my Santa outfit, trying to get the best shot for the Christmas cards.

We spent Christmas Eve at Grandma & Grandpa Tormala's for dinner. Christmas Day, Mommy, Daddy and I got up. I immediately was hungry, so Mommy fed me. Then I took a nap while Mommy and Daddy exchanged gifts. Soon I woke up and opened my CD player for my lullabies, my soft lamb, 2007 Christmas Bear, Baby's first Christmas ornaments, Baby Einstein video and more. Next year I will be more excited I think.

On Dec. 28, I turned 3 months old!! Mommy and Daddy took me to get my picture taken at Walmart. Mommy will put them on here when they come in. I was so adorable!!

Daddy had to leave on Dec. 29. Mommy and I got up early with Daddy to take him to the airport. His flight was to leave at 7:10am. We arrived to the airport around 6:30am. Grandpa T, Uncle Jared, and Krystal (uncle Jared's girlfriend) were already there. Mommy took a picture of me and Daddy before he left. He will be gone at least until Easter, so I will be 6 months before he comes home again. Mommy said she would take my picture a lot so Daddy can see how I am growing. Mommy can talk to Daddy on the phone when he is in port. Otherwise, he has email and he can check the blog/update it too.

Mommy and I spent New Years Eve together just sitting on the couch. I couldn't make it until the ball dropped. Maybe in a few years, but I was sleeping by 8pm. Mommy had New Years Day off from work, so we went to town and did a little bargain shopping.

Today I was supposed to start day care, but my babysitter hadn't returned from her vacation with her husband and son from Wales. Her husband is from there. Apparently, the airline was on strike or something. So today I got to spend the day with Grandma Tormala at home. It was a lot of fun. Tomorrow, Mommy takes me to the babysitter's and her mother will be watching me. But on Friday, my babysitter will finally be able to watch me. It will be strange not being home during the day. I wish Mommy didn't have to work. Actually, I know she wouldn't work if she didn't have to. Someday maybe she can stay home more.
