Hey everyone, Greetings from the U.P. Well, everything is going well up here. Minus the 3+ feet of snow we just got over the last several days. Everything had melted away and it suddenly looks like January again. Oh well. Anyway, I just wanted to let you all now that we found a house and are waiting to close around the end of April hopefully. Our TC home hasn't sold yet, but it has had a few looks so hopefully soon we can sell it.
Now for the house. It was built in 1984 and resembles a barn-shape, however the inside is nothing like we could imagine. There are hardwood floors throughout the living room and kitchen. I was unable to upload pics at this time due to the internet, but will update when I can.
We plan to remodel the kitchen cabinets and eventually build a master suite off the living room some day, but for now we will be upstairs in 1 of 3 bedrooms. There is an attached 2 car garage and a detached garage with workshop, plus a loft above that has yet to be finished. There is another out building that we believe was used for rabbits or maybe beagles.
The backyard is huge, and there is a very large dog kennel way in the back. The entire property sits on 4 acres, just enough for some privacy. Plus, it's only 2 miles from Chassell, and about 15-20 minutes from work. There isn't as much snow that falls here as were we are currently, so that is a plus as well.
The pregnancy is going great! I haven't had any morning sickness, the nausea has stopped, and only mild heartburn once in a great while. I have been exhausted however, so I am getting as much rest as I can. I go for the first ultrasound on April 18. I am 14 weeks right now. We decided to find out the sex of the baby to make the moving a little easier into our new home.
Pete left to go back to work March 27, so I have been hanging with the in-laws and just relaxing. I have been working on some cross-stitch projects for the baby. Pete should be putting some pics on here soon about his deep sea travels. So look for those updates as well. Hope all is well with you all. Take care.
