7 months today!

Hello everyone, I turned 7 months today. Daddy will be home in about a week, so he can see all the things I have started to do. I rolled over a week ago from back to belly, but haven't done it since. I can sit up unsupported, but if I lean or reach for anything, I often fall over lol. It's a lot of fun. I have a new Jymboree that Mommy's friend Darci said her girls like. I think I like it too. I laugh a lot and squeal and make all kinds of noises, and I like to grab my Mommy's face when she isn't looking at me, turn her face towards me, and then stare at her. Mommy gets a kick out of that. Mommy and I have taken a few walks down the road when the weather was really nice. This past weekend we had a thunderstorm with hail, and then it snowed. Daddy says this is a sign that winter is pretty much over. I hope he is right and so is my Mommy. Here are some shots and videos of me having fun in the last week or so.

6 months old!!

Well, today Mommy took me to see the doctor for my 6 month checkup. I actually turned 6 months 10 days ago. My new stats are 26 3/4" long, 18# 5.6 oz, and my head is 43 3/4 cm. Doctor says I slowed down a little bit in height and weight, but she expects a big growth spurt soon. I am eating my first solids. I have tried squash, sweet potato, carrots, green beans, peas, peaches, applesauce, banana, and pear, plus rice cereal. Mommy tried all of them with me for 3 days each and I did well. So now we are going through a second time and even adding a 2nd meal a day. I also tried my first biter bisquit today and that was yummy. Mommy did take me to get my pictures taken but they aren't in yet. When they do, she will put them on here so everyone can see them. For now, here are several others.

This was taken today after my doctor appointment. I had to get shots again, so I had a rough afternoon. But at least I look cute in my sailor shirt and Little Sailor socks in honor of my Daddy. He will be home soon...HURRAY!!
